Hope you all had a great turkey day!!!

Hey everyone!!!
How was your thanksgiving? Mine was awesome!!! I hope you will forgive me to say this but I think mine was the best that I have ever experienced. Soooooo much fun. It was at these members who live pretty close to our church, and attend the English branch. Coolest people ever!!!! Interestingly enough, one of them is German and the other is Korean, but that didn't stop them from feeding a bunch of people a thanksgiving meal!!! So delicious. There was like 15 people there, and I didn't know anyone really well, but it was so stinking awesome~!! It just had such a fun feeling of love and comraderie, it was so awesome. The spirit was really there, and it was so nice. Fun fact, the lady who's german whose home it was, her MTC companion was Katie Kitts. I said I was from Rancho Cucamonga, and she was like I know someone from there!!!! She struggled for her maiden name for a little while, but when she said it, I was just like NO WAYY!!! I could get to their house like right now if I was in America!!! That's so crazy right?!?!?! Anyways, that was so cool. Met a lot of cool people that night.
So since we were in a threesome this week, it was a little different for a while. We were much more busy at first with all the appointments between two areas. It was super fun. We met lots of cool people all the time. A bunch from the other Elder's area and a couple from ours. It was really awkward for proselyting at times as far as contacting goes. 2 works well, 3 is a crowd and scares people. It's really intimidating to have 3 foreigners come up to you and ask you about a ton of random things and then spring the gospel on you. Especially when 1 is brand new in the country, another is okay at Korean, not too crazy, and the best is like the equivalent of a 4 year old as far as extensiveness in their language ability goes... Kind of interesting.
While we were in that three some we were going to visit the other Elder's investigator who is about to get baptized at his place of occupation, and all the sudden our recent convert conspiracy theorist was there. Kinda made it hard to work with the investigator. The recent convert has been kind of drama recently to be honest. He is telling the investigator that he can't be friends with missionaries after he is baptized and that I'm stupid and that I don't want Koreans at BYU because I don't want the competition. This is all things that were told to Elder Williamson, by the investigator who was told these things. Kind of frustrating but whatever, I'll deal with it.
Last p-day, we went bowling, and I almost broke 100! I don't know if there are many of you that remember this from back home, but I am an incredibly awful bowler and I struggle to get above like 60, let along 100!! It was a good day!
There was this guy that had been asking me to help him out to get a copy of the book of mormon stories book for him and his kids because he was moving to china and so I did, and it was kind of an escapade. We ended up mailing it to his place here, but he was very grateful, and texted me saying that he would share of my kindness to the saints in china. ^^ global missionary!!!!
So we had this super awesome meal for lunch of steak. and more steak. and more. and then chick. SOOOOOOO good. A member took us out, same guy who took us to the buffet that also had steak before. Guy is such a boss. I asked him about some things in the ward since he's the 2nd counselor in the bishopric and he seemed super willing to help out. Lately I've been trying to be friends with all the youth because they have the widest circle of nonmember friends, and the most frequent comfortable environment activities where you can invite nonmembers. Super super cool. His son is struggling a bit, so I told him I'd try real hard to help him in particular out. We'll see how it goes.
We also had exchanges this week with the Zone Leaders, which was lots of fun. I helped out with their english class and they had some ward activity stuff going on too which was also lots of good fun. Their area is super sketchy though. Apparently one time, their house got broken into, while they were sleeping in it!!! Glad I didn't end up there when that happened!
Also there is an Elder serving there (they have two sets) who has a picture of his entire family holding assault rifles, including his younger sister, who is holding a pink camo H&K 416. Being that Korea is not a very gun happy country, that stirs people up a little bit. They kinda get mad. It's entertaining. Glad I'm not the one that stimulates that though.
Last fun little story! Yesterday, we had invited this one guy to church, and we told him that he could park at our church. He would have been able to were it not for the person who chose not to leave room for anyone else to park. grr. Anyways, not the cool part, he called and asked where he could park, and so we went outside to look around. Dude drives a Shelby GT 500!!! I was just blown away. This guy was super cool and nice. Unfortunately he got a call from his office, and had to go, but he said that he would try and come next week. Guy was such a boss.
Hope you all have a great week!!!
