Yes please - do not get stabbed by a hobo, or anyone else while on your mission or in your life in general. Where the heck did Scott pick up a word like hobo anyway? I haven't heard that word used in many many years - perhaps in all of Scott's lifetime.

Heres a clue for the reference in the subject line - The origin was one of the movies Scott watched over and over and over and over as a child. NOT a kids movie though and not Jurassic Park either. Another hint - Jon Voight. That's a big hint... I don't know what the 20 points are for - but I am sure they are worthwhile. =)

Love you Scottt! You sound so great.

Subject: The hobo can kill you in 1000 ways...

Hey President!!

I hope you've had a good week. Probably a little stressful what with transfers, but I hope that our prayers in your behalf help out.
This week has been pretty good for us. We had one appointment that actully showed up but we still didn't feel it right to count them as investigators to this point. Our one investigator is being kind of interesting right now. He wouldn't come to church and couldn't meet last week really either. He's pretty bummed that Elder Mumford but it will be good for him so he can learn it's not about the missionaries, but the Lord.
As training comes to end, it's easy to see how great of a period of my life this has been. I've grown a lot from Elder Mumford, and I hope he's grown a lot from me. I feel like he's asking more questions than ever right now, what with leaving the nest so to speak. I am excited to see what he does as a missionary. I know he is capable of great things.
Thanks for the heads up about study. I had kind of wondered whether the balance of the Old Testament was what I needed to study, so thanks for clearing that up. I'll make sure that I stay focused in what I study and what is necessary for invesitgators right now.
This awesome miracle came up last night when we were trying to visit less actives, and we somehow ended up on the same elevator as the son of a member! So cool. We didn't get to meet really, but we got their phone number and were able to give them another Book of Mormon because it seemed that they didn't have one anymore. Super cool to see!

I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday President! I'm excited for what the next transfer brings!

-Elder Clawson

Hey Everyone!!!!
No objections yet so it's staying that way. This week has been eventful in various ways. So first off it was transfers week, and I feel like being sassy and not addressing what actually happened so you can either keep reading, or infer from my email to president. I will say that Elder Mumford is leaving the nest though, and getting seperated from me because of the mission split. Sad face. I will never get to see my missionary grandchildren from my 장남 (firstborn son). Gonna be sad, but that's okay, I'll get to see him after my mission at BYU.
Mackenzy! Congratulations on your mission call! Just don't let yourself get too stressed there in Temple Square, or bored. I've heard that since it's somewhat repetitive that missionaries there get kinda depressed, but that's just hear say. Also you're like the happiest person ever so I don't think it will be a problem. Congratulations!!!!!!!
So this week had a lot of fun stories, and I don't have much time, so if you can't understand, pray for guidance on what it's actually supposed to mean. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PROOFREAD!
So we pretty much almost saw a hobo murder another hobo the other day when we were street contacting. There's this one place that we go to a lot, and usually there's anywhere between 2 and 5 hobos, and last week there were a bunch of them arguing, and there was this new hobo, a woman, and she seemed to really stir up a lot of problems. She started throwing this guy on the ground and kicking him, and then it just got worst. Eventually this other guy grabbed a bottle of soju and broke it like he was gonna stab somebody. Super sketchy. Even more sketchy is that we made an appointment to by one of the hobos dinner, but we didn't feel good about it, so we decided to pray, and it still didn't feel right, so we bailed. Not getting stabbed by a hobo with a bottle of alcohol on my mission.
We also got this awesome member meal, where the person who was feeding us, signed on to feed 6 elders, and bought a whole pig flank. Obviously it was butchered, but a WHOLE PIG FLANK!!! I swear I ate like half of it. There are certain Koreans that like you more if you eat a ton of food, and I think this member was one of them. I ate SO MUCH! Kinda ridiculous and morbidly obese, but hey, go big or go home.
Sunday night the miracle I talked about to president has way more fun to it. So certain apartments have code pads and locked doors you can't get through unless someone lets you in OR you sneak in behind someone else who is going in. Always fun. So we snuck in behind this lady, and it was really awkward so we went up to the 2nd floor while she waited for the elevator, and then would get on it when it came back down. We were going to board on the 2nd floor, but then someone was on the first floor and that would be awkward kinda too! So we were going to go down the stairs and we were just in this huge dilemna of awkward! There was no way out at this point!!! So we just got on the elevator going down from the 2nd, and then waited when it was on the first. At the very last second this other kid gets on the elevator, and is going to the same floor. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!~!! He's the son of the less active we were trying to visit! And it's not really very exciting after that, but it was super funny and cool and awkward, but the family never saw the awkwardness!!!
So with transfers, Elder Mumford is getting kicked out and sent North. We will not be in the same mission. Nor will either of our roommates, and don't think we let it go unvoiced that that was the case. We certainly harrassed Elder Mumford for that. Lots of FUN! My favorite Zone Leader, Elder Woodford, is going to finally leave his greenie area!!! Crazy!!! I'm staying here and training and district leadering again! Gonna be so fun! Also My district is growing in size by one companionship!!! Now there are a total of 5 companionships in my district! That's a zone in some missions! How cool is that!>?

Sorry when i get in a hurry I get really hyper and energetic. I think I missed a story but that's okay. Maybe another day. Also have fun!

Also 20 points to the first person whose not in my nuclear family that can recognize the movie reference in the subject line

Bye!!! Love you!!!!!!
