Hey everyone!!!
So this week has been great!!!
We had interviews with the President, and a temple visit, as well as just all the other awesome stuff that can happen in a week!!  So fun!
Especially fun thing this week, at president interviews, while we wait for the interview, we get to hang out with the President's wife, which was super fun!  My history as the walking encyclopedia resurfaced, not entirely sure why, but it did, and it entertained everyone super well.  It was funny because the conversation would go in a random direction, that one person may have known a lot about, and they were the one who was the authority on the matter, and then I chime in with a random fact about the same matter that they may not have known about.  Fun stuff
There was this one man that we met this week, certainly was an interesting character.  So he's met missionaries a bunch of times before in the past, and knows the doctrine super well, knows a ton about the church like where there are temples and stuff, but is soooooo confused.  He kept on asking if we smoked, so we started talking about the Word of Wisdom, and how those things are bad for you.  He said they weren't.  He also asked why cigarettes are more expensive in America.  I said it was because a tax.  He asked why there was that tax.  My response was because they are bad for you, and other people too.  Pretty sure that's right.  That was only the tip of the ice berg.  This man, needed so much help.  I wish he could just stop talking for long enough to let the spirit in.  Dude talks, sooooo fast.  I could understand, but my companion was just lost.  This man really needs some help, but I don't know what to do.  Maybe we can figure it out soon.
The temple was super great.  I love being at the temple!  It's so nice.  It was strange though because it's technically outside of our mission boundaries, so we are supposed to spend as little time there as possible, but I feel like you shouldn't rush being at the temple.  I don't know what to do, but I'm sure we were just fine in the time we spent there, because we got back and were productive missionaries.
Lately my district has been struggling a little bit.  I don't know what it is, but they would put forth what seems like more work with 4 companionships than they do with 5.  I don't know what to do about it sometimes!!  It's pretty stressful, because I feel like it's a reflection upon me, but I don't know how to do more than what I am already trying to do!  Just frustrating.  That's all it is.  They're all super cool people, but I wish I could see what they were doing a lot of the time that makes it seem like they aren't working as hard.
Fun story, so cicadas are out in force in Korea right now, and it's just about the most annoying thing that you have ever heard.  I legitimately feel like it's making me go deaf half the time that I'm outside.  They are not incredibly attractive bugs either.  I've been really wondering what they even contribute to the world anyways, cause as far as I can tell, it doesn't seem like much!!  If anybody knows what they do that's productive, then please let me know!  Anyways, one of the Zone Leaders caught one somehow last week, and he wanted to torture it a little for the pain that his kind has caused us!  Fortunately, I was able to let the bug free before he mutilated it.  Also the cicadas outside just started screaming.  perfect timing.
Other things about bugs, I got destroyed by mosquitos the other day!  I hadn't been bit in like 4 weeks, and then all the sudden BAM!  bug food.
Oh yeah, here's a fun one, this is how you say mosquito and cicada in Korean
매미 (me-mi) cicada   and   모기 (mo-gi) mosquito

Sorry, I have to be off in like 2 minutes, so I gotta go.   I feel like I didn't right that much this week so I'll apologize for that too, but you know, gotta be doing all that exact obedience stuff!

Love you bye!!

What do you do when a lady is pouring boiling water into the sink you're supposed to be cleaning dishes in?

Hey President!!!

This week has been great as always. Certainly a good ending to a week or two long period of what seemed to be struggles.
For study I have been reading Jesus the Christ and making preparations for my trainings that take place at district meetings. I used to really stress over these things, and worry about how it would be received but lately they have been much more of a pleasure to prepare and there seems to be increasingly more things that I am able to learn from them.
Elder Webber is getting better everyday still. I think he's really starting to notice the particular joys of contacting that we get to be a part of. There seemed to have been a week or two which for some reason or another, people were less receptive when we tried to talk to them, but it's getting better, and we're growing from it.
One of our investigators is well on his way to being baptized, which I am incredibly excited for. Ever since the first time that I met this man, I knew that he was going to be baptized. He has continuously had impressive desire, and continuously seeks to learn, as well as apply things to his life. My only concern is that he seems to have difficulty with smoking and drinking, as well as understanding how black and white the word of wisdom is, if he really wants to get baptized. We tried to explain to him, that he needs to be done when he gets baptized pretty much, and I think he got it, but I'm still a little concerned. He is awesome though and I look forward to seeing him in white!!
Our miracle this week was awesome. If you want, you could share this with Sister 마. Actually you can share my whole email, and typically all of my emails, I'm not too secretive really.
So Saturday, we had initially had 4 appointments lined up. A pretty good day by any standard I'd say, and we had hoped to get some good contacting time in around it, but in the time leading up to those appointments, each and every one of them ended up cancelling. I was so upset at first, but we set out to just go through the day and do what we could to brighten it. We started to make calls at the beginning of the day because saturdays are usually pretty good for that, and within 20 minutes, we called a man who we had met before a couple times, and he decided he wanted to meet with us right then. So exciting. After that, we decided to do some more calls, because we hadn't done as much as we would have liked, so we started up again. True to form with the first occasion, within about 20 minutes, we talked to another man who wanted to meet right then! So amazing and this man was legitimately one of the kindest men I have ever met. He bought us dinner and some 떡and then wanted to take us to meet his pastor, but we had somewhere else to be, so we had to leave. It was truly incredible! I don't think I've had any experiences like that before.
Along with that, I was wondering if it's okay to meet with the pastors of other churches in their houses of worship? I feel like it's fine if we are invited, but I'm not 100%.
I'm so excited to get to see you on Wednesday for interviews and look forward to getting to know you and your wife a little bit more this week!

Elder Clawson

Hey everyone!!!

So like I said in my email to president, this week has been awesome, and at this point, I think my time is running a little bit low, so I'm just gonna go full tilt on the emailing which means that this email may be full of mistakes and problems and run on sentences and particularly lacks of punctuation especially in this sentence right here.  There's a period for your convenience though.
On monday last week, nothing too special went down, just your normal p-day really, we got my companion's foreigner card, and on the way back we ran into Elder Hunter and Elder Woodford.  Elder Hunter was my trainer, and Elder Woodford is my good buddy who I lived with for 3 transfers.  He's my homie as I would say it.  Fun conversations with them on the way home.  Elder Hunter, what a goof ball.  His explanations of how his family is doing are hilarious.  What a character.  Still plays chess and gloats with the best of em.  I mean the gloating, he's pretty good at chess, but I wouldn't call him among the best.
Nothing really special that day though.
Tuesday, I was sitting there playing my guitar during a meal time, just for fun, and then bam a string breaks.  This wouldn't be very significant if it weren't for the fact that every time after that I walked by the guitar, it seemed like said broken string would get caught on my foot and make the guitar fall over.  Kinda irritating to say the least.  Not that significant in the real scheme of things though.
This week's district meeting was fun.  I had a good time delivering my training and stuff, and I think I'm getting better.  Honestly though, I hope that my forever long stint as being district leader and training somebody at the same time is almost over.  I would kind of enjoy just a transfer to mellow out or something, and by mellow out, I mean just be able to work harder for the investigators and not for a greenie.  There's no mellowing out in missionary work, just a refocusing of ridiculous amounts of efforts.  At least that's the way it should be.
This upcoming week is jam packed with fun stuff!  So Wednesday we get president interviews which I'm stoked for.  Finally get to meet my President a little more in person.  Gotta start sucking up to him and his wife.  They both seem so awesome, and I'm sooooo happy to be able to serve with them.  Also, I'm mostly sure since wednesday we also have district meetings that they will be in attendence of my district meeting.  That'll be fun and not remotely stressful at all...  Then thursday we get to go to the temple even though it is outside of our mission boundaries!  How cool is that ?!?! Really cool to answer your question.
Back to this past week.  So Friday, we met with our most progressing investigator, and he took us to get subway at this department store that was close by.  Department stores are really weird in Korea. Just saying.  Anyways, the subway was just kinda awkward.  Same sandwiches and stuff, but they were obviously way more expensive, and no toasting potential, and then they also had like a 14 year old put their menus together.  It seriously looks like something that was made in a high school design class.  It was pretty lame.  Got the job done, but was lame.  Tasted good though.
Anyways the investigator, so yeah we met him and we're at the point where we're just doing commandments now, and it was interesting.  He accepted everything and wait for it.... accepted a baptismal date!!!!  I know he can do it on that day, but he still has a problem with smoking and drinking, but I think he can quit.  I'm super excited because he's one of the first people that I think will let me dunk him!  I've never been in the baptismal font before so that's pretty exciting to me!!!
The next day is when we had that crazy miracle that I mentioned in my email to president.  So awesome!!!!  One thing I failed to mension there is that the place we ate food at, was owned by this lady that me and Elder Mumford contacted like 2 or 3 or 4 months ago.  I can't really remember how long ago, but everyone we met that day was so nice.
That man, it was crazy how much everybody knew that he was a crazy good person.  So the place we went to eat tried to kick us out when he wanted to pay.  Not like angriness, but they just didn't want him to pay.  He did get away with leaving them at least 10 dollars or so.  After that it was raining super hard and we didn't have any umbrellas so he went around looking for one, and this lady that was working at a store just gave him hers.  It was so cool.  Obviously just such a good person.  Oh yeah, he runs more or less the equivalent of a senior soup kitchen too.
Along with the lines of soup kitchens, on friday we got to go to this place that was like that too.  Super fun!  Even though we were just washing dishes the whole time and I'm mostly sure that this lady was trying to burn my hands off, it was super fun.  Next time me and one of the zone leaders are gonna start rapping about missionary work and rapping dishes or something.  That was a really fun service project.
I guess I'll teach you some Korean now
미남  (mi-nam)  pretty simple, but it's fun for me.   It literally translates to beautiful man.  I have speculated telling people that it's my name, just for funsies.  Pretty enjoyable for me. haha
I think I'm just about out of things to say and time to say it so, I'll give you a good old sign off I suppose.  Have a great week, and don't let the acid rain get you.  That stuff's the worst!

Scotts one year anniversary is coming up on August 8!  We cant believe how fast the time has gone by.  We love him.  We miss him.  But he sure sounds great.  I don't know WHO ever told him he looks like James Dean.  Sometimes he wears a white t shirt and jeans.  That must be it.

Hey President!

As always, this week has been a good one. The rain made it interesting to proselyte, but it was fun nonetheless.
Study has been good. I worked on my training a lot for District Meeting. I feel like every time I prepare for 3 days of study versus 2 days of study, it is far more effective than when I study for 2. I don't know if there's a logic behind that, or maybe it's just psychological but it is strange nonetheless. Trying to break that mode, and just always have good trainings, but that is easier said than done.
Elder Webber is getting better every week. He really continues to open up more. It's kind of evident based on his character that he is apprehensive to go out of his way to talk to random strangers, but he's getting into the groove of things. He's so concerned about making mistakes with his Korean that it holds him back a lot. I've been trying to help him just be more and more comfortable with making mistakes, but he seems to still be a little apprehensive. He is going out of his way to stop the passerby's though.
We met this strange investigator yesterday. He would not let us pray during the lesson, which was a first in my experience, he said he was homeless, but was wearing expensive clothing and had a nice car, and committed to read the entirety of the Book of Mormon twice in the coming weeks. An interesting person to say the least. Not entirely sure that I understand his character, but we want to help him anyways! He also said he would try to come to church next week. Looking forward to that.
A miracle that we were fortunate to be a part of this week was the fact that we finally got to visit the Bishop in his home. He and his wife are so busy that often their children are just home with their Grandmother. This is my fifth transfer here in 안양 and that is first time I've been able to enter their household. Very nice people, just very busy. Helped build some good relationships in that visit.

I love hearing from you and pray for you all the time! Have a great week, and stay dry!

Elder Clawson

Hey Everyone!!!!
This week has been fun as always!  Only problem was that we ran out of food at one point and each meal has been a bit of a struggle, but that was just poor planning on our part.  Not much to do about that except wait until the next pday so that we can go and buy more food.  That's today!  Hello costco!  So apparently the myldsmail has this new set up and stuff and it seems like it's finally getting to be almost as functional as gmail.  Oh well, pretty lame thing to complain about.  I'll take President Uchtdorf's advice and stop it.
So as always this week was pretty fun!  Sooooooooo wet.  So much rain and humidity.  I'm not one to sweat much to be honest, but I'm sweating like a dog over here!  Not as bad as my companion, and I just realized the falacy in the idiom I just tried to make up.  If I were sweating like a dog, I wouldn't sweat.  Some level of intelligence remains in my brain that does not relate to Korean!!! Yayy.  Not important though.  Anyways, yeah lots of sweat.  Pretty fun though.  People are always saying that we work so hard and stuff just for being out in the heat.
Also side note real quick, in movies and stuff where you see asian people walk around with umbrellas to function as shade and stuff, totally real.  Korean old women practically always have umbrellas for shade.  Not sure if they function as umbrellas with respect to the rain, but I imagine they wouldn't.  They look like they're made of silk or something.  Anyways, end tangent.
And what the heck!?!?  Both my mom and my sister don't think I look like James Dean.  Not to say that I do, but the sentiment therein isn't about actual similitude, just about self esteem and making myself feel good based on the fact that I look like a Rebel Without a Cause!  Oh well, my life will go on.
Fun news, Elder Mumford, my previous companion who is in the North mission, is training too!!!  how crazy is that?!?!  I'm less than half way through my mission, have prostrated 2 sons, and now a grandchild is in existence!!!  Interestingly enough, the grandson was the 2nd sons MTC companion so that is a little fun.
Man, we don't have much time today, I'm already down to like 10 minutes left!!!  I don't know what I'm going to do other than just keep typing.  Fortunately there is like nothing that comes to my head to write about to be honest.
This morning when I was getting up at the rapid pace that me and one of my zone leaders usually do, there was an accident.  I hit my foot on a chair, and then me and the zone leader ran into each other, and it was just this huge catastrophe and I couldn't even do my push ups.  I am however getting better at jumprope though.  I'm still incredibly bad by most standards, but it is getting better!
So that investigator I talked about to president in my letter, man that dude is weird.  So he's buddhist like everyone else and their grandma in Asia, but he likes to study about a bunch of different things and religions.  He did tell us he's homeless, but he also said that he studies a lot of different books and would just put the Book of Mormon on his shelf after he read it.  Also he said he would buy us lunch.  I'm not entirely sure he knows what homeless means.
The weather is still just as moody as ever.  I'm so sick of monsoon season. It's such a chore to try and talk to people when they have an umbrella covering their face and can use it as a shield.
Also we are out of contacting material and there's no way of knowing when it will come!!  It's a nightmare for a missionary.
It's all good though, it'll work itself out and maybe we'll just have to get everyone's phone number instead of just giving them ours.  A little harder, but we can do it!!!

Sorry it seems kinda shorter today, but such is life and then you go home.  I feel like I say that a lot...

Have a great week!!!

Over the past few weeks, the boundaries in Scott's mission have changed and he has
a new mission president.  Here he is with President and Sister Morrisse.  He also
has a new mailing  address for packages and letters.  His mission is now called Korea
Seoul South.  Details!  You may have noticed that there was no letter posted from
Scott last week, that is because we didn't receive one!!!  It got lost somewhere in
internet limbo land...  Never fear, we are all caught up now!!!

Also, super important, I have learned from a very reliable and knowledgeable source
that the ricecheeks thing is VERY REAL!  Too many carbs will do that to your sweet
and trim face.  Well, his face is still sweet, just a little rounder than we are used to.
This same reliable and knowledgeable source says that the rice cheeks will leave him
as quickly as they came on whenhis diet changes back to what has been more normal
for him.  Funny! So many new things to learn!

Hey President!

It was so great to meet you and your wife last week! I felt like I already knew you for some reason, and I don't doubt that there's a reason for that! I'm so excited to serve with you, and very glad that we will get to know each other a lot better!
It was another good week! Unfortunately, for various reasons the investigator I talked about last week couldn't meet this week, and was a little too busy to make it to church, but he says he's going to do his best to attend indefinitely in the future! So excited. I love this man, he has such a good heart, it's just that he is so open, that might get in his way, but I think he will be just fine. He loves to read the Book of Mormon too! Awesome man, and I'm so glad I can teach him!
For study, I've continued to read Jesus the Christ and the Book of Mormon primarily, and supplemented that by studying for my district. I think something that may be helpful for them is just working on Christlike attributes, so I may do something to that effect in the future. I'm a little concerned about the sisters in 안산. I know they are having trouble, and I know that they will be being seperated at transfers, but I'm just a little concerned that this may have had lasting effects beyond just this transfer. If you have any thoughts please let me know, and I'll do my best to keep you aware of what is going on there.
Elder Webber opened up so much this past week! We went on exchanges and he was with Elder Brissette, who just pushed him super hard, and it did Elder Webber wonders! He progressed leaps and bounds in a 24 hour span, and I was really impressed by him. It truly was nothing short of a miracle, and I was and am so grateful to have been able to witness that. I hope that I can supplicate some more progress of that degree. Elder Webber is going to do great!

Have a great week!

Elder Clawson

Hello Everybody!!!!!
How was your week?  I hope it was pretty good~!  I heard about Kyle Merkley getting his mission call!  You're gonna kill it man!!!  Just go out looking to have fun in missionary work and talk to everybody!  Despite what people say, missionary work is fun.  I promise.  I actually don't know what people say that you would have heard, but missionary work is fun.  Let there be no doubt in your mind.
So I've kind of developed a new hobby, or rather just fun little list I keep.  It is how many different celebrity look-alikes that I can get in this two year span.  As of right now, the list is comprised of the following
1.  Edward (of course)
2.  Elvis!
3.  Superman (that one was fun)
4.  Josh Hartnett  (2nd most recent one)
5.  Tom Cruise  (this drunk guy always calls me this one)
and lastly, my new favorite that I got about a week and a half ago
6.  James Dean
How sick is that?!?!  If I really look like James Dean, that's pretty awesome.  I mean I don't think there is a single female that I have met ever that would say that James Dean is unattractive so that's a pretty good name to get.  Granted that shouldn't be the first of my concerns, but hey, missionaries are supposed to look good, hence the dress code.  (yeah!...  Hence!...)  Not sure what that paranthetical quote is from but I'm sure Lindsay does, so help me out sister!  But yeah, james dean for the win.  I don't actually have to look like him.  The fact that this old Korean guy called me it is good enough for me.
It was super cool this week, there was this one less active who nobody has really had success in visiting in years.  They don't let people bother them, they don't like visits, and their phone numbers changed so they were difficult to contact, but through a very miraculous series of events, and awkward sneaking and such we met them a couple weeks ago, and now we have their phone numbers.  I called the mother who I think is the only member, and at first she was still kind of disengaged, but I kept trying and had success last week!  So her kids are in test taking time of year right now, so they're pretty busy, but she said to call back this coming weekend.  I asked if her kids needed English help if they had English tests, and then she just opened way the heck up!!!  It was awesome, turns out she speaks English and lived in Utah for a while.  Now we plan on visiting her this weekend, and I'm super excited!!!
Other fun experience this week.  So you know how in movies and TV all the time how they'll be doing something, and it looks kinda stormy and then all the sudden with no build up whatsoever it just starts pooring like nobody's business?  Well that actually happens in real life apparently, and did this week.  So we were out contacting, and we were walking with our umbrellas down and then all the sudden it was just raining ridiculously hard in an instant.  Most crazy weather patterns ever.  I guess that's what monsoon season is though...
Happy 4th of July by the way.  Kind of forgot about that being that they don't celebrate it in korea as Independence Day.  Who would have figured that Koreans don't celebrate American Independence.  I would if I was Korean...
We got to meet our mission president and his wife this week!  It was so cool!  They're awesome, and they seem pretty young to be mission president people.  Only like 57 or something, I feel like that's young, I'm not sure though.  I don't have too much to base it off of.  They're both super loving and awesome people.  I legitimately feel like I've met Sister Morrise somewhere before.  Don't know how, but I feel like I have.
So today I guess is like 11 months as a missionary.  Kinda weird a little bit.  I feel like I've barely been here at all.  also a month from now is my year mark.  that's a little bit insane.  Not too sure where the time went, but I feel like the balance of it has been productive at least.  Super awesome experience to say the least.  I'm still awful at Korean, but such is life when you are trying to learn like the 2nd hardest language for English speakers to learn ever!  Stinking spanish...
My companion is doing awesome.  He was a little sick after the plane ride, but that's what happens when you ride a plane for 13 hours, living on recycled oxygen.  kinda tough to not get sick, but now he's doing a lot better.
I've ran out of things to talk about so I think that I'll finish up.  Have a great week in my continued absence, and continue to be awesome.  If you want to communicate with me go ahead, I'll do my best to respond.  Maybe not answer questions, but talk regardless.
here's some korean
시끄럽다  (si-ggeu-reob-da)  It literally just means loud, but you say effectually to tell other people to be quiet.  Pretty fun word

BYE!

Hey President Morrise!

I'm super excited to be able to serve here with you and your wife to help further the kingdom in this section of the Lord's Vineyard.
This week has been good, and this coming week seems like it will be pretty good as well!
So as for study this week, I was going through Jesus the Christ a lot, and I found it really interesting that it seemed like Christ even exhibited mercy in the direction of the demons who called themselves Legion. They knew that they had to obey Christ as the sone of God, but even then they requested to enter the swine, and Christ obliged. I think it is a great testament to how we should act to those who may be exhibiting wicked characteristics, but still love them, even just as men.
Elder Webber is doing good, still working to get him a bit more comfortable to be outgoing with regards to contacting. I think he's starting to recognize the promise in PMG where it says that it's normal to be apprehensive in talking to people, but our mouths will be filled in the moment that we open them.
One of our investigators that's doing really well made it out to church yesterday. He likes to learn from us, but he's very interested in lots of faiths, which makes it a little hard for him to follow everything we say. We offered him a baptismal date, and he kinda dodged it, but I know that he can and will be baptized. He's ready, he just doesn't know yet.
Yesterday when we were contacting, this lady came up to us, and asked us if we had eaten. We had, to which she responded she wanted to buy us ice cream, but since it was the sabbath, we denied. Turns out she is a less active, and now wants to take us out for food some time. She even knew that we would need another man present to eat together. Super awesome miracle, all cause we were just doing what we're supposed to. So great!

I'm excited to meet you on Friday, and even more excited to serve alongside you. I'm excited for what's to come!

Hey Everybody!
New mission president, same greeting.  I am dead set on being buddies with President Morrise, I was with President Christensen, still am, and will be forever!  I want it to be that way with President Morrise too!  Dude seems like a boss, and his neice is in our mission!  How cool is that.  I feel like it might be kind of awkward for her.  Not too sure.
So fun story, with our new zone leader that moved in, I've been doing this interesting wake up routine.  So the new zone leader Elder Brissette, hates how slow people are getting out of bed, so a while ago, he started doing this thing where he gets up and is doing push ups, legitimately no more than 3 seconds after the alarm goes off.  That being the case we started to make somewhat of a race out of it.  Last thursday, I don't know what happened, but I woke up super fast (as usual) and ran in the wrong direction, towards the balcony instead of the kitchen where we usually do our showdown.  I was really confused, as was Elder Brissette.  Super funny occasion.  Also, I've been beating him out of bed so hard recently too!  I dare any opposing missionaries to try and beat me out of bed!  I've been out of bed doing pushups by 6:30:02  what's your best time?!?!?!
So I gave what could be my last District meeting training as district leader here because... wait for it...  2 other missionaries finally passed off so they can be district leaders now!!! YAYYYY exciting...  Also my district grew in size by one companionship!  So cool!
Other fun things, last night, this lady from another church decided she needed to talk to us about why her church is right, and why we needed to be there at 10:30 so we can start the service at 11, and probably repeated all that and then some about 20 times, or whatever was necessary to take half an hour of our time.  At the end she asked if we would go to church with her next week, and I said no.  My companion didn't understand any of it, but she talked at him most of the time nonetheless.  She was kinda miffed, but we have prior obligations.  Also, welcome to my life lady.
So for anyone who is wondering, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER, AS A MISSIONARY IS IT OKAY TO NOT SHOW UP TO AN APPOINTMENT, AND JUST NEVER ADDRESS IT!!!!  I bet you think there's an experience behind that.  Yep. You're right.  So friday, we met this guy, and he seemed kinda frustrated over the phone, but agreed to meet, which confused me, because usually if you don't want to meet you just don't make an appointment, but whatever it was an appointment.  So we met him, and he was still as frustrated as ever, and turns out about six months ago, missionaries made an appoinment with him, and never showed up.  Worst experience ever... He got super mad at me, and started being really rude, which I wasn't having, so I called him out on being rude, and then was more rude.  This was somewhat of a landslide experience, and then I more or less said "this is ridiculous, I didn't come here to argue, I came to teach about Jesus, and become friends.  What are you here for?"  To which he denied ever being angry (LIESSSS!!!), and then started being friendlier.  We're meeting him again this week.  That'll be fun...
So Elder Webber is doing a lot better in the blisters department this week, but his feet still look super nasty from all the blisters that showed up.  Not an enviable situation by any definition of the word.  Maybe if you like pain.  Crazy people do that so I hope not.  He's getting better at Korean and is a machine at setting up appointments over the phone.  Wastes no time, may not understand much, but does just fine nonetheless.  We just need to get him comfortable teaching and then he can train next transfer, which based on various circumstances, starts next week.  How fun is that?  Finally not a district leader.  But in reality probably not.  Also next transfer I hit my year mark.  What the heck happened there?  I'm really confused with regard to that.  Time is crazy.  Also sad that time doesn't really come back.  What what eternity?!?!?!
So we had this zone conference where we saw President Christensen for the last time in our missions possibly.  He may come down for something, who knows, but for all intensive purposes, the last time.  Very sad occasion, I'm sure it was incredibly difficult for him and his wife.  Not to mention all the missionaries that just go home regularly.  Crazy situation.  Also, now my trainer is the oldest missionary in the South mission, missionary age wise of course.  Kinda crazy, especially since he doesn't go home until november, but that will be here in no time, so who knows.
Also fun news, so we forgot Elder Webber's suit coat at trainers training, and because of the mission split, it has been incredibly difficult to manage getting that thing back!  Super hassle, but we might actually get it this week.  Exciting!  He can finally where a suit to church!
So I'm out of time!!!  Man that comes fast.  Really bad at answering question as acknowledged last week, so if you have a question, maybe I'll answer it.  Also, in the worldwide leadership training video, I know one of those missionaries that was in the ward in Oklahoma with the really cool ward mission leader.  Proffessional soccer player, also knows the Aussefs.  Pretty crazy!!!!
Last words for the day, listen to the prophets and make the missionaries lives easier please.  We love you and want to help.  "Catch the wave" teehee
