to me

Hey Everyone!

So again, I don't have too much time to email, and I would love to answer all the questions that all of you have (I would be wiling to bet that I have said that at least 15 times now) but time just isn't on my side.
This week was good.  We got to hear from Elder Whiting and Elder Evans of the first quorum of the seventy and it was super solid.  They reminded me of how important member missionary work is and how I'm still a member!!!  Hopefully you guys all remembr too!
So yeah, really really don't have any time today like about to finish up in like the next two minutes but this week was good.  Met these russian guys who were pretty nice.  Attended the English district confernce and sang there with President Morrise's brother.  Both super awesome guys by the way.  Also Nice to hear a program in English, but really strange/awkward.  Keep feeling God's love.  There is not anything that can keep it from us!  Romans 8: 38-39 does a good job!

Love you bye!

No Scott you DONT EVER answer questions when we ask them - Fact.   There is a lot about what you are doing over there that we just don't know...  For now we have to be satisfied with your Book of Mormon speak.  Funny little man!

I'm really hungry...

And so another week begins here in the land of the morning calm!
And it came to pass on the 9th day of the 11th month that Elder Clawson once again embarked in the service of the Lord, holding the duty of bringing a new missionary into the fold of servitude towards the Korean people.  Upon this the day which the Lord hath called Elder Clawson, there was another, even Elder Thorup who hath made his decent from the great flying bird to embark in such a servitude.
And it came to pass that as the Lord hath seen fit for these to embark in the work of spreading the gospel forth in the land called Gangnam.  As called by the lord they will seek from the children of israel those who have been prepared to receive the spirit of the Lord, and follow the example of those that have heretofore served, and to follow the Spirit in all their dealings.  Herein lie the dealings thereof.  Plus the balance of the week with Elder Hale.
I was gonna keep going in the book of mormon speak, but I got bored and were somewhat running out of time.  So yeah.  THis week was cool.  On monday, it was our last Pday with Elders Brewer and Hale, and it was fun.  We went to these batting cages and in so doing made friends with the owner of them.  Dude was cool and gave us a couple rounds for free.  The Elders who serve there are going to try and pick him up as an investigator.  After that we went to the national cemetary which was kinda cool.  We were talking about how confusing it would be to try and get out of their after the resurrection.  There's so many graves it's crazy.  Cool place to see though.  Lots of cool things like monuments and big tombs and such.  Also it was free!  We also met these cool people from Europe on the way there too.  If every Italian is like this guy Mateo that I met, I'm moving to Italy, guy was super funny cool and outgoing.  also spoke English by the way.
We spent a lot of last week meeting with our recent converts because they all really like Elder Hale and wanted to kind of get some last words from him.  It worked out pretty well, and he picked up this crazy rubiks cube that's a dodecahedron, and is crazy hard.  I figured out how to get pretty far in it, but now I don't have a toy anymore... oh well, more productive missionary work now I guess.  JOkes it's always productive!
Wednesday we had a zone training which was pretty cool.  We talked about bringing people closer to the gospel through revelation.  It was a pretty good training.  They always are.  Also we got to talk beforehand about various things that need to go on amongst the districts.  Oh yeah, I'm district leader again.  Did I say that?  I can't remember but yeah, that's a thing again.  Excited for that.
Friday when we were putting some things that one of the new sisters here in Gangnam sent so that she wouldn't have to carry it along with her new missionary's stuff to the house, and when we were leaving, the pin from the top hinge of the door comes off and all the sudden, the door almost comes and hits me in the face.  Scariest thing ever.  we fixed it up right away cause the landlord was out of town, he may still be but I don't know, and then went our way.  I'm not too sure how well that's gonna work for the sisters, and I hope that it doesn't become a problem.
Sorry, I'm not super focused on my email this week and don't really feel like typing more.  If you have questions let me know!  Email me! or don't.  Either way, you probably won't get the answer to the question you ask.  I'm bad at doing that...  Anyways have a great week!
