Hey Everyone!
It would seem that each week I get less and less time to talk to you, but that's okay, I'm not too upset about it.  I hope you aren't either, and if you are, I apologize, but there's not too much that I can do about it.  Sorry...  This week has been long, but good nonetheless!
Last monday we did not have P-day as it was a temple week, but it was still a good day.  Everyday is a good day.  What am I talking about?  I ended up consuming probably somewhere along the lines of like 4 or 5000 calories that day.  Also I didn't pay for any of that food.  Unhealthy? maybe, but in Korea if you want people to like you, you have to eat a ton of food.  Actually the guy who took us to lunch last monday took the sisters out to this buffet on friday, and he said that they didn't eat that much.  Can't say I blame them, but I do try and eat a ton of food around members.  You kinda have to if you want them to trust you.  If you don't eat a ton of food, it means that you hate them more or less.  Moral of the story, in Korea, eat a lot of food.
Tuesday we started the day with two appointments, and both of them cancelled, and we ended up meeting someone else instead which went pretty well, however this saturday, that convert said that he won't be able to attend church until march because he has to study for a test.-_-  Needless to say, I was not too pleased with that, but what can you do?  You tell him that he is not entitled to blessings if he doesn't come to church!  That's what you can do!  He said he would come to church, but nonetheless did not.  This recent convert frustrates me to no end.  Golden investigator.  not golden recent convert.  Frustrating.
Wednesday, the mission President came to our house at about  9 in the morning because he was planning to proselyte with our roommates.  We stuck around just long enough to say hi because I had to leave for district leader counsel that day, but it was still cool to have the mission president in your house.  Needless to say a bunch of cleaning was done the night before.
Thursday we had temple day, which was super awesome.  It was my current zone and my previous zone, so more or less the balance of all my friends within the mission.  Super fun day.  Lot's of funny discussions had after the session when we were kind of just hanging out outside.  That was our pday and we went to the stake center and played volleyball for a while.  That was super fun, but let me assure you that there are certainly a fair patch of missionaries that are not athletic...  not at all...  Still really enjoyed volleyball though!!!
We had to leave a little early because we had 2 appointments that both didnt' show up.  SOoooooo frustrating.  NO ONE LOVES ME!!!! =(((((((((((((((((((  It's okay.  Eventually someone will meet with us.
Saturday I went to my first wedding in Korea, and it was legit!!!!!  So cool.  SOOOOO MUCH FOOD.  Well I guess I should correct that statement, I went to where a wedding was being held and ate.  Didn't really do much with regard to the wedding.  It was a ward member, but another ward member took us away pretty early on and was just like "lets eat" and so we did, and then we had to go to the church to help plan for the christmas party where we ate more.  I eat  a lot...  Don't know how I feel about that really.  Actually I do, I feel like it's great!  Cause it makes ward members like me which means they reffer their friends theoretically right?  IF so then YAYY!!
Sunday was cool. ish.  We had like 3 people who had said that they would be at church not come.  Frustrating again, but whatever.  What can you do?
After church, we met with this guy from India and had just about the best lesson of my life.  THe guy wants to know the truth about life and where he can turn for peace and such.  He was very satisfied at the end of the lesson and I know he felt the spirit.  Unfortunately he moves back to India tomorrow, so we won't be able to continue to teach him in the coming weeks, but I know we made an impact on his life, and I'm excited for him to return home with his wife and start his own family.  He's a very good man, and very close to finding the living water in Christ.  I'm glad that I had a chance to participate in his journey.
So I'm out of time, but I love you all and keep being awesome!

If you have ever been bowling with Scott then you know that he has exceptionally wide thumbs.  Strange, but true.  So wide that they don't fit in the thumb holes of ANY standard American bowling balls. Really.  When he bowls, the ball does not release as it should, it just sticks on his thumb.  Always kind of funny.  Maybe Korean bowling balls have bigger thumb holes than American bowling balls.... Not sure about this at all...

Hope you all had a great turkey day!!!

Hey everyone!!!
How was your thanksgiving?  Mine was awesome!!!  I hope you will forgive me to say this but I think mine was the best that I have ever experienced.  Soooooo much fun.  It was at these members who live pretty close to our church, and attend the English branch.  Coolest people ever!!!!  Interestingly enough, one of them is German and the other is Korean, but that didn't stop them from feeding a bunch of people a thanksgiving meal!!!  So delicious.  There was like 15 people there, and I didn't know anyone really well, but it was so stinking awesome~!! It just had such a fun feeling of love and comraderie, it was so awesome.  The spirit was really there, and it was so nice.  Fun fact, the lady who's german whose home it was, her MTC companion was Katie Kitts.  I said I was from Rancho Cucamonga, and she was like I know someone from there!!!!  She struggled for her maiden name for a little while, but when she said it,  I was just like NO WAYY!!!  I could get to their house like right now if I was in America!!!  That's so crazy right?!?!?!  Anyways, that was so cool.  Met a lot of cool people that night.
So since we were in a threesome this week, it was a little different for a while.  We were much more busy at first with all the appointments between two areas.  It was super fun.  We met lots of cool people all the time.  A bunch from the other Elder's area and a couple from ours.  It was really awkward for proselyting at times as far as contacting goes.  2 works well, 3 is a crowd and scares people.  It's really intimidating to have 3 foreigners come up to you and ask you about a ton of random things and then spring the gospel on you.  Especially when 1 is brand new in the country, another is okay at Korean, not too crazy, and the best is like the equivalent of a 4 year old as far as extensiveness in their language ability goes...  Kind of interesting.
While we were in that three some we were going to visit the other Elder's investigator who is about to get baptized at his place of occupation, and all the sudden our recent convert conspiracy theorist was there.  Kinda made it hard to work with the investigator.  The recent convert has been kind of drama recently to be honest.  He is telling the investigator that he can't be friends with missionaries after he is baptized and that I'm stupid and that I don't want Koreans at BYU because I don't want the competition.  This is all things that were told to Elder Williamson, by the investigator who was told these things.  Kind of frustrating but whatever, I'll deal with it.
Last p-day, we went bowling, and I almost broke 100!  I don't know if there are many of you that remember this from back home, but I am an incredibly awful bowler and I struggle to get above like 60, let along 100!! It was a good day!
There was this guy that had been asking me to help him out to get a copy of the book of mormon stories book for him and his kids because he was moving to china and so I did, and it was kind of an escapade.  We ended up mailing it to his place here, but he was very grateful, and texted me saying that he would share of my kindness to the saints in china.  ^^ global missionary!!!!
So we had this super awesome meal for lunch of steak.  and more steak.  and more. and then chick.  SOOOOOOO good.  A member took us out, same guy who took us to the buffet that also had steak before.  Guy is such a boss.  I asked him about some things in the ward since he's the 2nd counselor in the bishopric and he seemed super willing to help out.  Lately I've been trying to be friends with all the youth because they have the widest circle of nonmember friends, and the most frequent comfortable environment activities where you can invite nonmembers.  Super super cool.  His son is struggling a bit, so I told him I'd try real hard to help him in particular out.  We'll see how it goes.
We also had exchanges this week with the Zone Leaders, which was lots of fun.  I helped out with their english class and they had some ward activity stuff going on too which was also lots of good fun.  Their area is super sketchy though.  Apparently one time, their house got broken into, while they were sleeping in it!!!  Glad I didn't end up there when that happened!
Also there is an Elder serving there (they have two sets) who has a picture of his entire family holding assault rifles, including his younger sister, who is holding a pink camo H&K 416.  Being that Korea is not a very gun happy country, that stirs people up a little bit.  They kinda get mad.  It's entertaining.  Glad I'm not the one that stimulates that though.
Last fun little story!  Yesterday, we had invited this one guy to church, and we told him that he could park at our church.  He would have been able to were it not for the person who chose not to leave room for anyone else to park.  grr. Anyways, not the cool part, he called and asked where he could park, and so we went outside to look around.  Dude drives a Shelby GT 500!!!  I was just blown away.  This guy was super cool and nice.  Unfortunately he got a call from his office, and had to go, but he said that he would try and come next week.  Guy was such a boss.

Hope you all have a great week!!!
